We would like to take a moment to thank those who are fighting for our rights throughout the State. Today, we recognize Sheriff Brad Manke of Stevens County. As we’re fighting the State on its ghost gun legislation in Stevens County, we have sued Sheriff Manke in his official capacity as the chief Law Enforcement Officer of Stevens County. In a response to our request for a Temporary Restraining Order and a Preliminary Injunction against House Bill 1705 (the State’s ghost gun bill), Sheriff Manke is clear that he stands for the People of Washington in his briefing, which concludes: “BRAD MANKE in his official capacity of Sheriff of Stevens County stipulates to a Temporary Restraining Order and Stipulates to a Preliminary injunction.”
The full response to our TRO from Sheriff Manke is below. Thank you, Sheriff Manke, for backing our Constitution and the rights of Washingtonians. We will continue to fight for our right to bear arms.
