On Liberty and Love
A Message from SMF
Hey SMF family! We hope you all get to take some time to celebrate your main squeeze today and every day. While we can’t say that anyone on our team is an especially big fan of the V-Day tradition, we do have a reason to celebrate today.
It is our fearless Director of Communications’ birthday today. Happy birthday, Rob Waites! Rob has been a part of Silent Majority Foundation from day one. His dedication, hard work, integrity and passion to fight for freedom are just a few things we celebrate about him. Thank you, Rob and happy birthday!
As today is an American tradition to celebrate “love” we got to thinking about that word and how its definition matters to our mission of protecting America's constitution and theological foundation. How you ask? We can explain.
We are living in a crucial point in history, truly a battle of good versus evil that has, quite frankly, shattered our comfort here in America. When a society moves further and further away from truth and godliness its is left with insanity and chaos – what we’re seeing in America today. We must stand firm for the principles that this nation was founded on; natural law, consent of the governed, and a Biblical moral framework. This framework was the very foundation of the guarantee for “liberty and justice for all.” Dr. Benjamin Rush expressed this well when he said:
Without virtue there can be no liberty.
Liberty and Love
What do the principles of natural law and liberty have to do with love? Our beliefs on love dictate what we fight for and provide our “why.” At SMF our efforts to restore Washington’s constitutional and theological foundation is based on our love for God and a love for country. Love tells the truth, even if it offends. Love shines light on the darkness. Love is courageous and long-suffering for what is good. Love is humble yet carries the strength of a warrior. Love isn’t greedy. With those things in mind……

Despite our challenges as a state and as a nation, there is steadfast strength, courage and love coursing through the veins of all of those who are in this fight to restore America to her constitutional and theological roots. Washington is worth the fight. More importantly, our families, our children, are definitely worth it. Thank you, SMF family! It is an honor to stand with you. Happy Valentines Day!
