Notice of Supplemental Authority filed in Brumback v. Ferguson

Those strong words come from Judge Roger Benitez, who just enjoined California's corollary to SB 5078 (our greater 10 round magazine ban). Today, we filed as a notice of supplemental authority (alerting the court of new case law), two cases: Judge Benitez's ruling in Duncan v. Bonta and a 9^th Circuit Court of Appeals ruling overturning a California District Court (lower federal court), which upheld a ban on open carry. In the 9^th Circuit case, Baird v. Bonta, the Court sent the case back to the District Court with instructions to focus on how the law impacts constitutional rights. Folks, this is great news! We're seeing the hard fought Second Amendment fights turn in our favor. We will keep you posted on how things move in our Second Amendment challenges.
